LOL Surprise Party Games
LOL Surprise is massively popular at the moment. A party theme based around these little dolls is proving very popular! Check out some of the ideas below from our setup for Darcey’s 6th birthday at her house in Sydney’s suburb of Mosman.
We designed and created a lot of the LOL Surprise props from scratch and had so much fun doing it! In terms of the games/ activities, the classic dancing, games and facepainting are perfect. These custom LOL ideas also kept the children entertained and made the day a huge hit!
We did all the food, decoration, styling and entertainment for this special party. Below we have explained some of the fun and how to recreate this at your own party.
Decorate your own party bag
We provided white bags and lots of decorative items - pens, paint, stickers and sequins. The girls stuck LOL girls stuck onto the front and designed their own bags. The girls loved drawing their favourite doll.The girls then got to pick lollies, stickers, cookies and pens to fill their bag.
Decorate your own LOL cupcakes
Our cupcake decorating activity means the kids can decorate their own sweets and eat them too!
Unwrap the surprise
Pass the parcel is so popular! We passed around the specially wrapped gifts in an LOL box for extra fun. You can also wrap popular things like pens, hair bows, stickers, notepad and more.
Classic party games
We played lots of dancing games like musical statues, musical chairs, musical bops and limbo. We also played some classic games which the boys loved including duck duck goose and piggy in the middle.
Put the bow on the glitter queen
We used an A3 image of Glitter Queen and printed special paper bows for each of the guests. Once blindfold they took it in turns to put bow in correct place.
Hair braid or colour station
Every girl loves glitter, hair spray and crazy hair styles. We brought glitter, colour weave and hair accessories. The girls were thrilled to transform their hair with crazy LOL hair styles.
LOL photo booth
Photo booths are so fun because they children love to style themselves up and strike a pose. The best bit is the pictures which you can keep as special memories and even send to the guests as a special thank you afterwards.
Design your own LOL doll
We gave the guests A3 paper and they were able to colour in their own LOL doll. We made it a competition and gave a special bow to the winner.
